A big part of your role will see you liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage partnerships and contribute to the broader goals of CHL. In this role, you will work closely with the state management team to champion excellent customer service and drive results. We value quality outcomes, and you will have responsibility in ensuring our programs meet compliance and contractual requirements, whilst also thinking about future state plans and strategy.Finally, you will bring passion, resilience, and strong leadership skills to ensure the SA Operations is a high performing, best practice team.Please note this role is a fixed term contract maternity leave cover commencing July 2024 until August 2025 based in our office in Prospect.About YouThe State Operations Manager (SOM) has operational oversight of all programs within the state to ensure quality service provision to customers. The SOM is responsible for all operational staff and is a point of escalation for complex issues. Essential Criteria:Qualifications in management, or related discipline.Demonstrated staff management and leadership experience including fostering and maintaining a successful working team environment, including when teams are working remotely.Demonstrated experience managing compliance with government contracts to achieve required outcomes.Sound knowledge and application of excel, and program and budget managementAwareness of and sensitivity to the needs of people who are in housing crisis and/or have special needs/disabilities and/or a thorough understanding of local Aboriginal issues, including social and historical context.Demonstrated understanding of the causes of homelessness.Current Driver’s Licence.Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
