The Role
Focusing on business development and growth, we are looking for a highly skilled, committed, passionate leader to take on the role of State Manager for Queensland. As the State Manager, you have ultimate leadership and responsibility for CHL’s housing and homelessness services across the State.
You will be responsible for the strategic leadership of state operations and position the organisation as an industry leader in the state. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing business growth opportunities, including managing stakeholder relationships, enhancing these relationships, and developing new partnerships to ensure continued high-quality services are delivered to our diverse customers. You will also lead the state Management Team to ensure collaboration across all operational areas and actively participate in senior management group and contribute to organisational improvements and policy development.
This role can be based at either our Brisbane or Gold Coast office.
About You
You will demonstrate success leading at a senior management level in social services or government sector, as well as a sound understanding of best practice social housing management, policy and legislation applying to the community housing industry. In addition, you will demonstrate an ability to create a self-directed team environment and possess key attributes.

Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
