SDA Engagement Officer

Community Housing Limited (CHL) Group of Companies is an innovative and best practice affordable housing organisation which assists access to, develops and manages sustainable housing for people in need. As our operations expand in the region, we have created a new role to support the delivery of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) to our clients.We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to become our SDA Engagement officer, who will be play an integral part in establishing and delivering appropriate housing for people with disabilities. You will be the key liaison point for all stakeholders and be involved in all phases of the expansion project, from conception to delivery.  This is a part time permanent role, working a 7-day fortnight (52.5 hours per fortnight) with the work schedule to be negotiated with the successful candidate.You will:  Manage stakeholders and communication across SDA projectsCoordinate SDA project marketing, including working with stakeholders on broad promotional strategiesProduce specific marketing projects to attract customers and reduce occupancy and vacancy riskWork with CHL Housing teams to ensure appropriate entry process for tenants with disabilities, including development of onboarding project plans and involvement of SIL support staffWork with the Learning & Development team to develop, coordinate and deliver staff training modules in relation to SDA and working with SIL providersLiaise with the Project Services team in relation to SDA policy and program development and lessons learned upon project completionEstablish the CHL-SIL Provider "Community of Practice"What will success look like?You will have demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and networking skills, including working in partnership with a range of stakeholders to achieve deliverables and quality outcomes for clients. In addition, you will have a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, particularly in relation to SDA requirements.
