Responsive Maintenance Officer

Community Housing Limited (CHL) Group of Companies is an innovative and best practice affordable housing organisation which assists access to, develops and manages sustainable housing for people in need. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who will work within our operational team to provide a high quality service and well maintained properties for CHL customers Working closely with the Responsive Maintenance Coordinator, you will:1.      Provide advice and support in the management of CHL’s asset base, ensuring a high level of consistency is achieved in the application of the organisation’s asset policies, procedures and standards2.      Supervise and oversee the responsive and vacated maintenance of properties3.      Liaise and negotiate with relevant business units as well as professional/technical consultants and contractors4.      Participate in asset management projects and work assignments5.      Undertake onsite maintenance work6.      Liaise and work with contractors to ensure KPIs are met7.      Working collaboratively as part of the operations team8.      Provide additional appropriate support to wider team and organisationWhat will success look like?You will have experience and understanding on monitoring work progress and manage priorities with a commitment to achieving quality outcomes.Green/White card (or ability to obtain)Sound knowledge and application of WHS practicesCommitment to the right of every person to good quality housingCurrent Driver’s LicenceSatisfactory Police, NDIS & Working With Children’s ChecksIn return we offer a competitive salary, access to training and development and a range of other excellent benefits.
