National Portfolio Analyst- Assets

Community Housing Limited (CHL) Group of Companies is an innovative and best practice affordable housing organisation which assists access to, develops and manages sustainable housing for people in need.  The effective evaluation of our property portfolio is essential to ensure we continue to deliver quality housing to our customers. Which is why we have created a new senior role specifically dedicated to this purpose, that will have a national focus and can be located at one of our offices in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, or Tasmania. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated expert who will be responsible for managing and analysing CHL’s current property database to produce strategic and sustainable solutions. You will work alongside key stakeholders to evaluate and plan housing projects that support our objectives and ensure targets and contractual obligations are met.You will manage CHL’s Asset Management database and analyse CHL’s national portfolio to make strategic recommendations by: Ensuring CHL’s housing stock is used to its maximum potential Reviewing the portfolio for future demand and sustainability, including identifying underperforming stockManaging implementation of investment programs, ensuring they are planned, have sufficient resources allocated, and potential risks are identifiedDelivering investment programs managing housing stock, ensuring all funding opportunities available to CHL are exploredOverseeing investment programs to ensure they meet governance and reporting requirements, including budget and audit requirements, quality control processes, defect liability and final accounts processesWorking in partnership with key stakeholders for strategic planning, implementation, and delivery of investment programs to ensure high quality services are deliveredLiaising with and managing key stakeholders and partnerships to ensure housing investment programs are delivered to highest possible standards for our customers What will success look like?You will have demonstrated experience in Asset Management or related field, including an in depth understanding of social housing asset management best practice. In addition, you will be an expert in business analysis and report writing and have a thorough understanding of housing policy and legislation as it applies to the community housing construction industry.
