You will implement and keep building on our communications strategy to meet our strategic objectives and proactively manage the public profile of CHL. You will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders to address our organisational needs, in areas of traditional, social & digital media and will be part of a supportive team. This is a full-time fixed term role and can be based anywhere in Australia. You will: Deliver on company’s strategic plans in the areas of traditional, social and digital media to raise organisation’s profile Provide advice to internal stakeholders in relation to media and marketing and proactive crisis and issues management Oversee social media program and company websitesIdentify and prepare submissions for industry awardsLead the development of corporate information materials and support the Managing Director with presentations and reportsManage a small team including a Communications CoordinatorProvide additional appropriate support to the wider team and organisationWhat will success look like?You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in the not-for-profit or housing industry. In addition, you will have established media relationships and a talent for building and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also have: Post graduate qualification in relevant discipline Membership of AIMIA or similar associationExcellent communication skills, including strong idea presentation and content writing skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at one time and work towards tight deadlinesExceptional organisation and time management skillsThe ability to work independently as part of a wider team and adapt in a fast-paced environmentGeneral financial and budget management skillsA commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing.In return we offer a competitive salary, access to training and development and a range of other excellent benefits.
