We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Handyman/ Trade Assistant to join our Internal Maintenance Service (IMS) team at Community Housing Ltd.As a Handyman/ Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our vision of a world without housing poverty by ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of CHL properties in the region by undertaking general handy man duties including repairs and maintenance, hands-on gardening, and cleaning tasks. Working closely with our IMS team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our clients.About YouIf you are a dedicated individual with a passion for contributing to a greater cause and possess the technical skills to excel in property maintenance, we want to hear from you!Essential Criteria: Five years or more of trade experience in carpentry, painting, plastering, bricklaying or other associated skills Proficiency in using various tools and equipment. Excellent communication skills and a talent for building relationships and working in partnership with others. Sound knowledge and application of WHS practices. White Card (or ability to obtain). Valid Driver's Licence. Strong commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing.
