Customer Service Officer

Community Housing Limited (CHL) Group of Companies is an innovative and best practice affordable housing organisation which assists access to, develops and manages sustainable housing for people in need.You will be responsible for providing a welcoming front desk service, undertaking administrative and customer support to ensure high quality customer service is provided. This position is Part Time Permanent based at our Box Hill office.To support our team, you will:  Support the Homelessness, tenancy, and housing teams to provide high quality customer services in the region by:Undertaking general office and reception duties which includes providing a welcoming front desk serviceMaintaining a working knowledge of relevant support services within CHL and from partner agenciesProviding relevant information to customers and maintaining data bases.A talent for building relationships and working in partnership with clientsExcellent communication skills, including experience assisting a diverse range of peoplePossess core competencies of compassion, understanding, patience and resilienceHigh level time management and organisational skillsWhat will success look like?This position requires you to be the initial point of contact for a diverse customer group, you will need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of people experiencing social disadvantage.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years' experience in similar roleResilience when working with vulnerable peopleStrong Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of IT platformsCurrent driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing and a sense of belongingIn return we offer a competitive salary, access to training and development and a range of other excellent benefits.
