Support people living on low to moderate incomes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those living with a disability.The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate Business Development Manager to identify, establish, and develop business opportunities in the Northern Territory for the CHL Group.Focusing on promoting CHL’s mission, values, vision and goals through the establishment of business networks with governments, community service and commercial partners, through developing a business implementation strategy for CHL and ACHL in line with growth opportunities presented.You will represent the CHL Group of Companies in the Northern Territory while managing and enhancing commercial partnerships and stakeholder relationships and work to foster strategic partnerships across Government, NFP and private sectors.About YouTo be successful for this role, you will be an experienced business development manager with the following:Essential Criteria: Demonstrated experience as a senior manager in business development, community or social services, property services, or related government department.Thorough understanding of and clear commitment to best practice, policy & legislation in the housing sector.Demonstrated understanding and experience with a range of cohorts in housing need and particularly those of people from an Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander background.Current Driver’s Licence.Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing.Desirable:Previous experience working in the social/community housing industry.Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.CHL acknowledges the traditional Aboriginal owners of country throughout Australia and we pay our respects to them, their culture and their Elders past, present and emerging.CHL is committed to the health and safety of our people and our clients.
