Community Housing Limited Group of Companies (CHL) is an innovative and best practice social and affordable housing organisation which assists access to, develops and manages sustainable housing for people in need.CHL operates in the highly regulated profit-for-purpose housing space in Australia and overseas.We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate Business Development Manager to identification, establishment, and develop business opportunities in the Northern Territory for the CHL Group.You will:Focusing on promoting CHL’s mission, values, vision and goals through the establishment of business networks with Governments, community service and commercial partners through:1.      Develop a business implementation strategy for CHL and ACHL in line with growth opportunities presented through Government and private sector2.      Represent the CHL Group of Companies in the NT and position the organisation as an industry leader3.      Identify and develop diverse business growth opportunities4.     Identify and assess new development opportunities in line with the CHL’s growth strategy5.      Manage and enhance commercial partnerships and stakeholder relationships and work to foster strategic partnerships across Government, NFP and private sectors6.      Actively participate in the senior management group and contribute to organisational improvements and policy development7.      Engage with stakeholders and communities, and negotiate partnerships to support strategic growth8.      Work in partnership with colleagues across the CHL Group to ensure resources are available to support NT growth opportunities9.      Provide appropriate additional support to the wider team and organisationWhat will success look like?Minimum 5 years experience as a senior manager in business development, community or social services, property services, or related government departmentThorough understanding of and clear commitment to best practice, policy & legislation in the housing sectorUnderstanding and experience of a range of cohorts in housing need and especially those of people from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgroundCurrent Driver’s LicenceSatisfactory Police and Working With Children’s ChecksIn return we offer this full-time position, a competitive salary, access to training and development and a range of other excellent benefits. What will success look like?

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a senior manager in business development, community or social services, property services, or related government department
  • Thorough understanding of and clear commitment to best practice, policy & legislation in the housing sector
  • Understanding and experience of a range of cohorts in housing need and especially those of people from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Satisfactory Police and Working With Children’s Checks
