Support people living on low to moderate incomes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those living with a disability.The RoleThe main responsibilities of the Asset & Facility Manager include supporting and managing staff and contractors across TAS jurisdiction to ensure effective service provision. This involves coordinating and overseeing their activities to ensure smooth operations and delivery of services related to the portfolio.Another key task is providing support in the review and ongoing improvement of Internal Maintenance Service (IMS) operations and service delivery and management of the IMS team. The primary goal is to support the State Manager to implement improvements to maximise productivity and cost efficiencies, including the refinement of processes and task allocation/workflow. The role will also play a key role in developing strategies to best utilise the portfolio, which may include redevelopment of existing stock.About YouThe successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills alongside your sound understanding of best practice residential asset management, policy and legislation applying to the community housing and construction industry. It will suit some who is able to critically analyse existing structures, identify improvements where applicable and work towards implementing changes. The ideal candidate will be committed to making best possible use of available resources to achieve the best possible outcomes for both tenants and the organisation.Essential Criteria:Post-trade Certificate IV or relevant qualification Understanding of best practice residential asset management, policy and legislation applying to the community housing and construction industry.Sound knowledge and application of WHS practices, excel and budget management.Green/White card (or ability to obtain).Current drivers licence. Desirable:  Experience in asset management, based on useable lifecycle.Property development and redevelopment experience. Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
