Support people living on low to moderate incomes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those living with a disability.The RoleThe main responsibilities of the Asset & Facility Manager include supporting and managing staff and contractors across Queensland to ensure effective service provision. This involves coordinating and overseeing their activities to ensure smooth operations and delivery of services. Another key task is assisting in the strategic review of the growing portfolio of over 1,200 properties. The primary goal is to support the State Manager to implement improvements to maximise productivity and cost efficiencies, including the refinement of processes and task allocation/workflow. This role will also support the development programme, assisting to shape new housing supply that can provide quality homes for our customers long into the future.About YouThe successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills alongside your sound understanding of best practice social housing asset management, policy and legislation applying to the community housing and construction industry.Essential Criteria:Trade or other relevant industry qualification.Understanding of best practice social housing asset management, policy and legislation applying to the community housing and construction industry.Sound knowledge and application of WHS practices, as well as budget management.Current drivers licence. Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
