About the Role:Aboriginal Community Housing Limited, a national Tier 2 Aboriginal community housing organisation that provides culturally appropriate property and tenancy management services across Australia.We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate leader to drive our business growth in Victoria, building and managing partnership and stakeholder relationships throughout the state.You will have: Experience in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, sector organisations and government agencies to support the expansion in Victoria.Build and manage new and existing partnerships and stakeholder relationships that support current portfolio and future growthIdentify and secure diverse business opportunities in VictoriaWork with colleagues to develop workplans, project plans and procedures to support the implementation of the Strategic Business PlanParticipate in the management of state and national projects and Victoria operational functionsWhat will success look like?You will represent our vision and mission throughout Victoria, and have an appreciation and knowledge of the diverse contexts and local communities. With strong ability to demonstrate experience developing and networking with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, individuals, government agencies and partner organisations.You will have:Knowledge of the sector and the environment, required to identify various stakeholder perspectives when developing strategies, plans, and team goalsStrong skills in communication, negotiation and influencing a range of stakeholdersExperienced in fostering strong relationships with teams & communitiesA positive attitude towards achieving key deliverablesConfidence and experience in problem-solving, with the ability to remain calm in reactive situationsCan work independently and as part of a broader team within a fast-paced environmentA commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing.This is an identified position.
