About UsAboriginal Community Housing Limited, a national Tier 1 Aboriginal community housing organisation that provides culturally appropriate property and tenancy management services across Australia. The Role The ACHL CEO will play a vital role in the development and management of ACHL’s services and its housing provision for people in need. This role will drive the strategic and operational leadership and management of ACHL, including growth, meeting financial targets, managing partnerships, meeting compliance and ensuring quality standards are established and maintained.  Reporting directly to the ACHL Chair, the ACHL CEO you will contribute to continuous improvement activities and develop, establish and manage new and ongoing partnerships and stakeholder relationships including with government stakeholders. You will also be responsible for representing ACHL in sector development that will continue to position the company as a leader in the housing sector. About YouYou will bring relevant experience in a strategic development role within the housing sector and have advanced strategic and business planning capability, including a demonstrated history of driving results in the creation of housing outcomes and customer service standards.Essential CriteriaRelevant experience in the strategic development of housing services for people in needDemonstrated understanding of the Australian and International housing sectors and policy, regulatory, compliance and operating environmentMinimum 5 years' experience as a leader in the community, social or affordable housing sectorDemonstrated record in the development of housing opportunities including understanding of all aspects of housing and project development process Thorough understanding of and clear commitment to best practice in housing, asset management and community development servicesDemonstrated ability to lead a senior staff team to deliver performance outcomes to support the company’s mission, strategy, values and goalsAdvanced written and verbal communication skills, including those utilised in human resource management, reporting, policy development and representing ACHL at a national levelThis is an identified position.
