CHL is driven by a collaborative team culture where every member plays a vital role in achieving our mission.The RoleYour understanding of the causes and impacts of homelessness will enable you to complete holistic comprehensive client assessments. You will work as part of a team ensuring that quality support and case management is delivered to tenants within the complex. This is a full time, fixed term position until June 2025.About YouYou will demonstrate relevant experience in case management and/or provision of support services, including knowledge of the sector and services available to assist clients. In addition, you will have a talent for building relationships and working in partnership with clients, as well as excellent knowledge of strengths-based practice and trauma informed care approaches.Essential Criteria:Qualification and/or experience in human services framework for people presenting as homeless.Excellent communication and advocacy skills and the ability to confidently communicate with a range of stakeholders.The ability to use your experience to resolve day-to-day problems, including remaining calm if unexpected circumstances arise.The ability to work independently as part of a wider team and adapt in a fast-paced environment.A current drivers licence.A commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing.Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
