This full time, onsite role, based at Prahran, is vital in maintaining the quality and safety of our residential assets, ensuring our residents live in well-kept, welcoming environments.The RoleAs a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the upkeep of residential properties within the GLM portfolio. Working as part of our facilities management team, your duties will include:Performing general handyperson tasks (minor repairs, painting, upkeep)Daily cleaning to maintain neat and hygienic residential areasSupporting preventative maintenance programs and liaising with contractorsConducting regular site inspections and reporting issuesAssisting with resident move-in’s and move outsResponding promptly to resident service requestsProviding friendly, professional customer service with a diverse range of residents Ensuring safe working practices in line with CHL health and safety policiesAbout YouYou’re a team player who loves to contribute and you take pride in maintaining safe and welcoming spaces. The Role

About You

You’re a team player who loves to contribute and you take pride in maintaining safe and welcoming spaces. You’ll bring:

  • Experience in handyperson, caretaking or janitorial roles
  • Strong planning, organisation and time management abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with an openness to working with people from all walks of life
  • Ability to take responsibility, work independently and manage multiple tasks to completion
  • Basic IT skills (e.g. property management software, email)
  • A Green/White WHS construction induction card (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Drivers Licence (mandatory)
  • Commitment to the right of every person to quality housing
