Aboriginal Relationship Manager- NSW

A member of the CHL Group of Companies, Aboriginal Community Housing Limited (ACHL) is a national Tier 2 Aboriginal community housing organisation that  provides culturally appropriate property and tenancy management services across Australia. We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate leader to drive ACHL’s business growth in New South Wales (NSW),  building and managing partnership and stakeholder relationships throughout the state. You will: Engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, sector organisations and government agencies to support the expansion of ACHL in NSWBuild and manage new and existing partnerships and stakeholder relationships that support ACHL’s current portfolio and future growthIdentify and secure diverse business opportunities in NSWWork with CHL and ACHL colleagues to develop workplans, project plans and procedures to support the implementation of the ACHL Strategic Business PlanParticipate in the management of state and national projects and NSW operational functions.What will success look like?You will be enthusiastic representing ACHL’s vision and mission throughout NSW, and have an appreciation and knowledge of the diverse contexts and communities in which ACHL operates in. In addition, you will have demonstrated experience developing and working with strong networks with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, individuals, government agencies and partner organisations.You will have: The ability to communicate, negotiate with and influence a range of stakeholdersThe ability to foster strong relationships critical to ensuring ACHL’s objectives are metA positive attitude towards achieving key deliverablesConfidence and experience in problem-solving, with the ability to remain calm in reactive situationsKnowledge of the sector and its working environment, required to identify various stakeholder perspectives when  developing strategies, plans, and team goalsThe ability to work independently as part of a broader team within a fast-paced environmentA commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing.This is an Identified position.
